The Committee hereby calls for nominations
from members for the new 2016/2017 Committee.
Please note that only Life and Ordinary Members have voting powers in
the Society and therefore all nominees and proposers must also be Life Members
or paid-up Ordinary Members and NOT Associate Members.
The present Committee consists of Kombada
Mhopjeni (Chairperson), Gabi Schneider (Treasurer and Vice Chairperson), Jane
Gold (Secretary) and seven other ordinary members, namely Ben Mapani, Eckhart
Freyer, Greg Symons, Roger Swart, Vicky do Cabo, Keith Webb and Ingrid Stengel.
In terms of the constitution of the Society, the present Vice Chairperson, Gabi
Schneider, automatically becomes the new Chairperson, and the required other
members of the new Committee will be elected by postal ballot before the AGM.
Kindly complete the nomination form,
if you would like to nominate anyone to the Committee, and return it to the
Secretary by 25th March 2016 at the latest in order to comply with
the constitution.
Please note, that nominees MUST sign the form,
as well, as proof of their acceptance.
